POP star Kylie Minogue admitted she fancies women as well as men and admitted there was an actress she’d had a crush on.

The 41-year-old singer, who is dating Spanish Versace model Andres Velencoso, 31, made the shock admission to Spanish-language magazine Max Mexico, The Sun newspaper reveals.

“I have been attracted to some women,” she said. “I am a sexual exhibitionist and part of me is a natural flirt.”

However, in what may come as a disappointment to her legion of male fans, she added, “Although I have been attracted to women, I have never done anything with them.”

Minogue joked in the past about becoming a lesbian because of her widespread gay icon status.

Two years ago, after splitting from her French actor lover Olivier Martinez, she claimed to have had a crush on the late American actress Tallulah Bankhead.

She said: “I’d go gay for her. She was a fascinating and exotic woman. There was so much to admire about her.

“She lived life to the full, maybe a little too fully. I want to release the inner Tallulah in me. God knows I can’t get a man – so maybe I should cross over.”

In 2000, the star shared her only public girl-on-girl kiss, with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, after the pair arm-wrestled on a British chat show.

Minogue’s current sex bomb persona is a far cry from the squeaky-clean image during her days in Australian soap Neighbours in the 1980s.

She is now known for her glitzy outfits, including a pair of gold hot pants deemed iconic enough to be exhibited at London’s Victoria & Albert museum.
