Lady Gaga’s performance that was slated to occur on January 14th at Purdue was sold out. The ticket buyers were waiting for the day to arrive with gusto and anticipation. They were even more happy when they heard that the show timings had been moved from 7.30 to …er, 7.20 i.e 10 minutes early. However at literally the last moment the show was canceled and was shifted to 26th January. For 10 minutes of less anticipation, 12 days of revenge looks like a bit too much. Lady Gaga’s performance was to be preceded by those of Semi Precious Weapons and Jason DeRulo.
According to sources, the star was suffering from “an undisclosed illness” and thus had to reschedule her appointment with her fans. Reportedly, after the diva passed out in her room, the EMT people were there at the venue in a jiffy. However, the pop-stars handlers, would not allow them to check her out…er, check her. The later reports however did confirm that she left the venue, Elliott Music Hall “under her own power”. Also, the tickets they bought for Thursday, is good for 26th January too. Also, the people who wont be able to attend the performance on 26th January, will be given a full refund of their tickets. At least that’s a relief.
Later the diva’s personnel’s said (via phone) that the ‘Paparazzi’ singer was not ill any more, and that her condition was normal. However, when they were asked about her coming-up performance, they were unavailable to comment. Lady Gaga will also be appearing on the Oprah show, this Friday.
