Oct 9: Popstar Michael Jackson and his family were recently spotted going to a Los Angeles comic store – all hiding their faces behind masks.

Jacko and clan removed the facade after they entered the shop from a back door.

While Jackson chose not to take off his mask – wearing dark glasses under a hoodie, his 11 year old son Prince Michael, who was wearing cream shorts, white trainers and black hooded jacket, got rid of his mask, reports The Sun.

The pop king’s younger daughter Paris, 10, got rid off her mask too and wore a red shirt and black trousers.

The youngest of the lot, Prince Michael II, revealed his dad’s long, straight hairstyle, but without shades.

Oct 9 : Nicole Scherzinger, the singer of Pussycat Doll, has invited U. S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin to join their group, if her political future fails.

The singing sensation is very sure that the former beauty queen Palin has got the potential to join the all-singing all-dancing five-piece.

Therefore she has offered her the new ”job” if her election campaign fails next month.

“She seems like a headstrong woman, a tough chick. And she’’s hot,” Contactmusic quoted Scherzinger, as saying.

This is not the first offer for Palin, as the 44-year-old Republican governor of Alaska was offered to bare all in Playboy.

Oct 9: Johnny Depp is reportedly being offered a whopping 59.2 million dollar pay cheque for reprising his role as ”Captain Jack Sparrow” in a fourth installment of the ”Pirates Of The Caribbean” franchise.

If the big-money deal happens it will make Hollywood history as the highest up-front payment ever – overshadowing the 53.65 million dollar pay cheque Tom Hanks was offered to star in the forthcoming ”The Da Vinci Code sequel, Angels & Demons”.

A source, however, has insisted that Disney Studio bosses – who are behind the hugely successful franchise – would pay anything to keep Depp on their books.

“There’’s only one Johnny Depp. They simply cannot make another Pirates movie without Jack Sparrow,” Contactmusic quoted the source, as telling the Daily Mail.

“The first three films have earned 2.7 billion dollars at the box office. It’’s no surprise that Disney executives want Jack back and they are willing to pay big bucks to get him,” the source said.

However, it is unlikely Depp’’s co-stars Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley will return to star in another sequel.

Oct 9: Troubled pop star Britney Spears rejected a plea offer on charges that she drove without a license, her lawyer said Wednesday, according to People magazine.

Prosecutors had offered the 26-year-old a one-year probation and 150-dollar fine if she pled guilty to a misdemeanour charge of driving without a license. But lawyer Michael Flanagan said that Spears was being targeted because she’s a celebrity and doesn’t deserve even a minor criminal conviction on her record.

Her trial is set for October 15.

At the time of the 2007 fender-bender, Spears had a Louisiana license but has since obtained a California driver’s license.

Billy Ray Cyrus, who stars with his daughter in “Hannah Montana,” gave the statement when asked about the absence of Justin Gaston, 20, from Miley’s grand birthday performance at Disneyland.

“He is a great guy, a really talented guy,” Fox News quoted Ray, as saying.

The 16-year-old star’s camp has long been maintaining that she and Gaston are “just friends.”

Despite being linked to Gaston, Miley has earlier been caught in a controversy involving a string of scandalous snaps.

But Bill said that they deal with the drama of fame “one day at a time, one step at a time.”
