The 32-year-old beauty – who does not talk to her father following his divorce from her mother – likes to use her ”emotional memories” to get into character but also thinks about adult experiences to do the same thing.

She said: ”I have a good relationship with my mother and I just don’t like to talk about my father.

”How I was raised and the memories of certain incidents in my childhood – I bring those emotional memories to things I need to use at work. Definitely. But I also use things that happened to me as an adult in the same way.”

The ‘Bel Ami’ star is not upset by her unconventional upbringing as she believes everyone has stories from their past.

She added in an interview with Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: ”I managed to be the black sheep of the family.

”I have an unconventional background but what’s average these days? We’re all interesting in our own ways.”

Adele also admitted she ”panicked” when stricken with writer’s block on the road at a time she planned to pen the follow-up to her debut album ’19′.

She told Q magazine: ”I always hoped I could write when I was on tour but I couldn’t do it.

”How did I cope? I didn’t. I f***ing panicked.”

It’s a lot of fun.’ When actually giving him the membership card, Seacrest joked, ‘Think of the endless fun you can have with jugs of salsa and buckets of hummus’. Bieber enjoyed turning the age by spending the day with friends and family rather than having a crazy bash with friends. However it wasn’t the only lavish gift that Bieber received, with him also getting a Fisker Karma from his manager Scooter Braun, and also revealing that he was planning to get another house in Los Angeles now that he has turned 18.

The ‘John Carter’ actor trained as a personal trainer and nutritionist when he was trying to get his acting career off the ground and would consider a career helping combat obesity if he hadn’t found movie success.

He said: ”I got certified as a nutritionist and a personal trainer while I was studying acting. I was homeless in New York and LA; I couldn’t work much because I was Canadian and didn’t have a visa. I wasn’t supposed to work in gyms but I did it anyway.

”I love helping out other people with advice. If acting didn’t work I would’ve become a dietician for kids. We’re in the worst state we’ve ever been in, in terms of obesity in kids, adult early onset diabetes, and so on. Especially in the States. It’s a f**king joke.”

Taylor admits he ”worries” about younger generations because so many are unfit and overweight.

Asked how he would combat the problem, he told Men’s Health magazine: ”Accountability. Parents and school systems. I’m more worried about the kids, the younger generation. That’s who I would focus on.”

Handing over the keys to the vehicle, Scooter said, “You work really, really hard. I always yell at you don’t get anything flashy.You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule”, adding, “So we wanted to make sure you were environmentally friendly and we wanted to make sure since you love cars that when you’re on the road you are always environmentally friendly and we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out”.
