WITH a television show in the pipeline and a successful PR business on a steady simmer, Sydney’s Roxy Jacenko is poised to take the mantle of Sydney’s it-girl.
So it’s only appropriate that she has the wheels to match.
And it’s fitting that she splash out on the same car that former it-girl Lara Bingle was once seen cruising around the Eastern Suburbs in.
Confidential hears Jacenko recently laid out about $320,000 for a black Aston Martin V8 Vantage – the same model Bingle famously put on the market before her recent trip to the US.
And the 28-year-old confirmed the purchase to Confidential, saying the buy was a reward to herself to mark her sixth year at the helm of her PR firm Sweaty Betty. And in case you’re wondering – no, it’s not leased.
“My theory is, if you can’t afford to buy it, you don’t get it,” she said.

Jacenko purchased the car after offloading a Porsche 911 and Range Rover and said her next milestone would be building her own home in Woollahra.
Clearly Sydney’s fashion PR industry is booming.
Meanwhile, the fly-on-the wall series based around Jacenko’s day-to-day movements, an Aussie hybrid of The Hills called The Sweat Box, recently wrapped filming and is set to air on Channel 7 later this year.
