She had stiff competition in US, in the form of Rihanna and Adam Lambert, but she beat them hollow, with her album sales scaling new heights.In the UK, she beat Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon to emerge as the top selling artist of the year.
Susan Boyle joins the group of great musical artists, who have sold over 1 million copies of an album. Just last week alone “I Dreamed A Dream” sold 700,000 copies.
This is not the only good news for her. The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ discovery Susan Boyle is being tipped to sing the track for the next James Bond movie. According to reports, composers of 007 hits and official Bond fan clubs want the 48-year-old to star on the unnamed 23rd Bond movie.
The next James Bond movie will be released in 2011. The composer of the legendary ‘James Bond’ theme Monty Norman divulged that, it is likely the Bond bosses have given it “serious” thought. He said: She has the right kind of sweeping voice.”
