The gorgeous Uma Thurman is all set to star in a steamy new thriller ‘Bel Ami’ with the Twilight star Robert Pattinson. In this movie Rob Pattinson plays a bad-boy-soldier-turned-journalist. And there are rumors floating around that the movie has an on-screen-smooch between the pair, though as yet there has been no confirmation from the production house.

The movie Bel Ami is based on the 19th century novel by Guy De Maupassant, and is also set to star Christina Ricci as a promiscuous young housewife, as well as Kristin Scott Thomas. The novel revolves around the life of a Parisian ex-soldier, Georges Duroy (which is played by Robert Pattinson), and his attempts to climb the ranks of French society by seducing women. ‘The plot of the movie is not being released just yet,’ says Uma’s rep. whereas the handsome Robert has previously said that the lead female in the movie ‘needs to be literally inspirational.’ With Uma Thurman opposite him, it looks like his wish is fulfilled. The shooting of the movie will be done in London.

Meanwhile it may be recalled that the super hot and gorgeous Uma Thurman has spilt with her fiancé Arpad Busson. This was confirmed by Uma’s representative, who also said that the spilt apparently happened around two months ago. The spokesperson said the Kill Bill actress and the Swiss financier broke up “almost two months ago.” However it is being said that, “They remain friends,” a source added.
